Eyeshadow palette
Eyeshadow palettes are makeup patterns that are also identified as color palettes, supplemented with various shades of eye shadows. An eyeshadow is really the most important part of the entire eye makeup. Under eye shadows, there are so many things one can do-from light natural tones to really dark bold and bright colors. It is where most of the creativity is expressed and quite perfectly as well. An eyeshadow palette really allows you to achieve almost natural, bridal, glam or soft glam looks for oneself. Most eyeshadow palettes are designed to be blended together in a completely finished eye makeup look. They come in a size-all three to four shades miniature palettes to more than 30 or more shades in a large palette. Different finishes are available like matte, shimmer, satin, and metallic. Eyeshadow palettes come with an Applicator or brush along with a mirror for easy utilization.
How to apply eyeshadow :
1. Apply eye primer: Eye primer does the same magic as face primer. Eye primer is the way to keep the eyeshadow intact for a longer duration, as it does not slide over the eyelids due to melting heat or moisture. Apply primer on the lashes and brow bones in thin layers.
2. Build up your base: Get your quad shadows or anything similar prepared with your base color. Base that goes all over your eyelid sets your primer and makes it so there aren't any lumps. That makes it so the eyeshadow doesn't stick to your eyelids. Flat stiff brush is a nice option. It can also be a color this close to your skin tone if you want to go natural, lighter for a more highlighted look, or darker for smoky eyes.
3. Define your crease: Simple eyeshadow techniques provide gorgeous crease transitions. For example, related to applying the eyeshadow on the crease, get a small soft blending brush. Load the brush with the eyeshadow color and sweep it onto the crease using a windshield-wiper motion. Opening your eyes wider, bigger, and more beautiful can be achieved using this technique. Still, to better define the shape of your eyes, dip your angled brush into your darker shade and use it to define the outer corner of your crease in a V-shape from the lash line towards the outer crease.
4. Blend, blend, blend: Blending is the single most important and most ignored aspect of shadow application. Blending is one solution for all your problems regarding the usage of the eyeshadow. Take a blending brush and blur the edges between the two eyeshadows you have used so far. Since the palette contains colors that were made to blend together, they should mix seamlessly. Take a clean blending brush and diffuses the colors into your crease and outer V until they flow into your lids.
5. Define your lash lines: As soon as your shadow is blended into a defining masterpiece, go in and create your lash line definition. If you want, apply liquid eyeliner or pencil eyeliner first. Decide whether you want to stop just before the end of your lashes or create a winged line effect, it's all up to you. Then, into that dipped angled eyeliner brush, dip it into a medium or dark eyeshadow. Use this to set your eyeliner.
6. Highlight the center: Take the lightest shade from your eyeshadow palette and use it just below the arch of your brows to make your brows look nice and neat. For a nice light golden or champagne shimmer, apply eyeshadow to the inner corner, very close to the tear duct, using a small, dense brush. This will brighten, refresh, and open the eyes. This will make the eyes look bright, fresh and open. One could use any cream or powder or liquid facial highlighter instead of glitter eyeshadow for such an effect.
7. Finish eye makeup look: Finally, we are at the final shot in the eyeshadow guide. Define your waterline with mascara, line your lash line with eyeliner, and create long, wavy lashes with mascara - endgame for your eye makeup look!
