What is Skin Type ?

The skin type of a person refers to the amount of oil produced by the skin or sebum. Sebum is a substance that keeps moisture in the skin. If a person is aware of the needs of their skin, they can find products that will work best for their skin types and avoid any negative impact from possible issues. The main skin types include normal, dry, oily, combination and sensitive. Here is how to determine your skin type and how to take care of it.

  • Normal skin: This type of skin produces enough sebum to keep the skin evenly hydrated without making it greasy. Normal skin can handle most substances compared to all other skin types. If you have a normal skin type, you typically won't have to deal with acne breakouts or product sensitivities and your skin will have the right balance of hydration and oil production. The scientific term for balanced skin is eudermic such as the T-zone (nose, forehead and chin). However, despite the fact that normal skin does not have any particular problems or concerns, it still requires proper skin care to look and feel its best. Individuals with such normal skin types are more likely to boast of blemish-free skin most of the time and be less sensitive to skincare products. However, they may experience a breakout, feel dry, or be sensitive due to changes in their normal hormonal levels, environmental changes, dietary changes, and stress exposure.

To assess whether you have normal skin, you can simply look and feel for yourself. Normal skin has an even complexion, flawless skin texture, and pores little to notice. It is not subject to breakouts, or irritations, and has oiliness. Skin Care Routine For Normal Skin:

The natural balance of normal skin must be maintained to preserve its healthy appearance. A skin surprisingly free of problems such as sensitivity, clogged pores, and blemishes has normal skin. Hence a perfect complete skincare regimen will keep normal skin hydrated, keep it free from stressed and UV-induced damage, and reduce or delay the coming or appearing fine lines and wrinkles.

Step 1: Cleansing Should begin and end the day by cleansing with a mild cleanser, which will completely remove the dirt, impurities, and residual product buildup without stripping away the skin's natural oils, leaving it refreshed and clean.
